What is Training Camp?

Training Camp is a 30 day intensive intended to prepare college students to plant, lead, and multiply micro-churches on their campuses.  The actual training will include everything from Bible study skills and micro-church fundamentals to current theological dangers and developing a missional mindset.  On the practical side we will be forming a micro-church that will meet multiple times weekly.  The motive being that by the end of Training Camp each trainee will know what it feels like to be and lead a Biblical community.  Also note that during Camp students will collectively live within REACH provided housing.

What Does a Week Look Like?

  • Mornings spent in prayer, devotional time, and study (called Acts 6)
  • Acts 6 time will be from 9:00a-11:00a on Tuesday thru Friday
  • Tutorials meet three times weekly.  Tuesday thru Thursday 12:30p-3:00p
  • We will meet as a micro-church twice weekly.  Tuesday and Friday evenings
  • Individually each trainee will have a 1 hour weekly prayer block

When is Training Camp?

The program dates extend from July 7th to August 5th.

What Does It Cost? Scholarship Opportunity?

Not only is it no charge... we understand that as college students summer is an opportunity to financially make up some ground for the costs of both tuition and living expenses.  In light of that we are offering an opportunity for a college scholarship for those who are interested.  **Please note this is optional** During Training Camp, there will be a select number of open blocks that each student will have available to work.  Each student can find work (i.e. yard work, painting projects, baby sitting) during those set apart blocks to work.  REACH will match the money made in those allotted times up to the amount $500.  This will provide the opportunity for up to a $1,000 scholarship designated to each student's specified college.  Each student must log there projects/hours to insure this is not abused.
